IMPACTS ON COVID-19 ON PRODUCTION, POVERTY AND FOOD SYSTEMS IN GHANA
You voted for thisFood insecurity has continued to rise across Africa as the pandemic continues to spread albeit more slowly than in other continents. The number of deaths from the pandemic in Africa Green Revolution Alliance focus countries remains low, totaling 728 as of 9th June 2020(end of day). In Ghana, the World Food Programme has estimated that around 2.4 million people will be food insecure in the coming months as a result of COVID-19 food production disruption. There is the need to initiate food industry project title: FOOD HARVEST CENTER in Ghana to reduce poverty and hunger, malnutrition and promote production, food and nutrition security in Ghana to motivate, enhance, strengthen and boost the Africa Continent Free Trade hosted in Ghana 2020/2021.
