Unlocking CDFIs as an Emergency Response System for Communities and People of Color

You voted for this

Creating new types of risk capital and catalytic leverages is key to meeting the most critical needs in communities both for economic recovery and racial justice. CNote as a CDFI intermediary, Rockfeller Foundation as a systems funder and investor, and ImpactAssets as a donor advised fund, have catalyzed more than $250M to CDFIs and are exploring how to develop a deeper and faster commitment in the context of communities hit hardest by the pandemic and innovative methods to channel catalytic capital well fitted to this time. Calvert Impact Capital (invited) is working on system’s level solutions that can bring capital at scale to communities in need. We will bring together a range of actors to unpack innovations going on and chart a course forward that impact investors can lean into.
