Bitwise’s mission is uplifting people of color from marginalized communities into the technology industry. It is Bitwise’s commitment to hiring a diverse workforce that has enabled the company to thrive despite the current pandemic. Bitwise and its software development company, Shift3 Technologies developed a one-stop resource providing access to available resources, funds and jobs as a direct response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Bitwise and Shift3 saw an opportunity to serve their community and proved that now is not the time to back away from diversity, but rather double down. The people of Bitwise come from the communities being hit hardest by the virus so creating the solutions to support them is personal. The session will highlight how a representative workforce is best equipped to respond in emergency situations.
