Designing an Impact Investing Portfolio: Moving from Why to How

You voted for this

With all the buzz of impact investing, there are surprisingly few resources to bring an asset owner along the full journey from intention to implementation for a mission-aligned portfolio. This session will introduce the strategic framework and actionable tools from the 180-page Impact Investing Handbook: An Implementation Guide for Practitioners. We will cover the WHY (theory of change) to the HOW (portfolio construction) to the SO WHAT (evaluation framework) to the NOW WHAT (implementation plan). This interactive session will help attendees apply the content to their own portfolios by completing practitioner exercises along this journey.

  1. Hoping the overlooked Qualified Small Business Stock (QSBS) tax incentives are included in this chat.
